KC Autos Leads the Way in Carbon Neutrality with ISO 14068-1:2023 Achievement

KC Autos is proud to announce that, in December 2025, we successfully achieved certification to the ISO 14068-1:2023 standard, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.

This achievement represents more than just certification; it reflects a strategic transition from the previous PAS 2060 standard to a more robust, internationally recognised framework for carbon neutrality. ISO 14068-1:2023 sets a higher benchmark for transparency, accountability and measurable climate action, ensuring organisations not only offset emissions but actively reduce them through verified and credible processes.

KC Autos is the first vehicle repair group within the UK to complete this transition and achieve certification under the new standard. This positions us at the forefront of sustainable practices within the automotive repair industry.

Our journey began with PAS 2060 in 2021, where we established a strong foundation in carbon management, including measuring our greenhouse gas emissions, implementing reduction strategies, and offsetting unavoidable emissions. Transitioning to ISO 14068-1:2023 required us to go further strengthening our carbon reduction plans, improving data accuracy, and aligning with internationally recognised best practice.

Key elements of this transition included:

Enhanced carbon footprint measurement across all operations
Increased focus on emission reduction initiatives, including energy efficiency and waste minimisation
Continued investment in verified carbon offsetting projects, following the achievement of all feasible reductions
Greater transparency and documentation to meet stricter verification requirements
